Parish RafflesGet your tickets for the Parish 2012 LEAP YEAR AND ST. NICK 50-50 RAFFLES and get in on a special leap year (February 29th) drawing for the Leap Year raffle and earn some Christmas shopping money from the St. Nick Raffle! Our 2012 Leap Year raffle gives you a chance in THIRTEEN drawings. St. Nick tickets are $5 each and Leap Year tickets are $12 each. Thank you for your support!Christmas Service of Prayer and MusicOur Religious Education young adults will provide us with the story of the Birth of Jesus and the Choir will provide us with joyful Christmas music. Come and join us. It is always a good way to prepare for the coming of our Lord. Cookies and refreshments afterwards is always something special. New Year's Eve with Our LordFr. Anthony will preside at a HOLY HOUR on Saturday Night December 31, 2011, starting at 11 PM with Benediction at 12 Midnight. Spend the last hours of this year with the Lord and welcome the Lord into the New Year 2012. Come and join us for Exposition, Rosary, quite Prayer Time, Readings and homily with the closing Benediction. Coffee provided prior to 11 PM. Church will open at 10 PM. Parish Golf OpenThe Third Annual Parish at the Beach Golf Open was held at Bayside Resort & Golf Club on Friday, October 14. On Behalf of our Parish, thank you to all who participated in this year’s tournament. We hope everyone had an enjoyable day and we look forward to seeing you next year! Christmas BazaarThank you to all our parishioners for donating to the bazaar, coming for the day to enjoy the festivities, and to the many volunteers who spent countless hours making it happen. It was a wonderful event that the community looks forward to every year. Low Gluten Eucharist Now AvailableSt. Luke Parish is now offering low gluten Eucharist. If you need to receive this less then 0.01% gluten content host, we ask that you stop in and tell the priest before the Mass you are attending. Receive in the center aisle and at the end of the line. Remind the Priest or Deacon or Extra Ordinary Minister of the Eucharist that you wish to receive the Low Gluten Eucharist. Electronic GivingPlease contact the Parish Office if you are interested in an Electronic Giving Program, a direct payment program which is a safe, smart, and "green way" to make your contribution to our parish. Electronic giving allows you the freedom of setting up the weekly, monthly, or quarterly contributions to support your church, which is automatically debited from your account and electronically deposited into the parish account. It promises a great savings for the parish on mailing, stamps, and contribution envelopes. New Testament DiscussionThe New Testament discussion group meets at St. Luke's Church following the 9 am Mass on Thursdays. Father John Gorman, SDS, facilitates the group. All are welcome. |
