It is with some sadness that we announce the cancellation of our Friends and Fellowship gatherings.  Despite our hopes to build a small but growing community of Prayer, reflection, and conversation, attendance has been very limited, at times with only one participant.  While we remain grateful for those who did take part, we are unable to continue the program at this time.

Community remains an essential part of our life of faith, and we encourage those who are seeking connection, friendship, and fellowship to consider joining our upcoming Parish Picnic planning group.  This is a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow parishioners, share ideas, and help create a joyful event for our entire parish.

As we look ahead to September 22, 2026, we are hoping to host a joyful Parish Picnic right here in our parish hall - a time for fellowship, good food, laughter, and community.  This will be a special gathering for our parish family, especially as we come together to celebrate and also draw the winners of our summer raffle.

We would like this picnic to be by the parish, for the parish.  That means home-cooked dishes prepared in our kitchen, simple games and activities, and the kind of warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects who we are as a community. 

To make this happen, we are looking for parishioners who would be willing to help form a small organizing committee.  This will not be an overwhelming commitment - just a group of people willing to share ideas, coordinate details, and help bring the event to life.  Many hands make light work, and this is a wonderful way to be involved in a meaningful and enjoyable parish effort.

If you enjoy planning, cooking, organizing, or simply want to help create a memorable day for our parish, we would love to have you join us.  In the coming weeks we will share more details but for now, please consider being part of the team that makes this happen.
