Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (also known as Confession or Penance) is one of the most unique and beautiful sacraments of the Catholic Church. Jesus Christ, in His abundant love and mercy, established the Sacrament of Reconciliation, so that we as sinners can obtain forgiveness for our sins and reconcile with one another, God and the Church. The sacrament ‘washes us clean’ and renews us in Christ.

We offer the Sacrament of Confession at St. Luke’s on Wednesday evenings, 6pm-7pm, and Saturday mornings, 9:30am-10:30am.

If you have not been to Confession in a while, we at St. Luke’s, and the entire Catholic Church want to welcome you back and invite you to participate in this beautiful sacrament of healing. Take a step in faith. You will be surprised about how you feel after taking part in this sacrament. So many Catholics describe incredible feelings of peace, joy, relief and love that they never expected. Jesus is calling you to experience His mercy in this way, too.
