Our Parish

It is the mission of St. Luke's-St. Andrew’s parish to welcome parishioners, visitors, and inquirers to our Roman Catholic Community.  Together, we can hear, understand, celebrate, proclaim, and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

With the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the direction of our clergy, our parish strives to provide liturgical and sacramental services, religious education, and social support and encouragement to our community.

We also acknowledge our obligation to establish and maintain the physical facilities necessary for gatherings and celebrations.

By practicing good works and service to each other, our parish mission is to meet the continuing needs of our community.  St. Luke’s Church is open year-round, while the St. Andrew's Parish Center is only open for masses during July and August.   During which, we offer 8 Masses each weekend between the two church locations to help accommodate the spiritual needs of our parishioners and the many visitors to our community.  Presently our parish of St. Luke's is home to about 1,200 families living in the areas of Worcester County, Maryland and Sussex County, Delaware.  St. Andrew's Parish Center is where all parish offices and classrooms are located.

During the winter months St. Andrew’s serves as our social center for various parish events, including dinners, socials, holiday parties, meetings and it is also available for rent.  These events are all part of our parish social activities.
